Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst – Islamic Banking & Corporate

Job Description: As a Senior Credit Analyst for Islamic Banking and Corporate mandates, you will bring 3+ years of post-qualification experience handling analytics and/or credit risk — designing and optimizing data-driven credit strategies including underwriting for a banking institution that values both conventional and Islamic banking credit expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Apply 3+ years of post-qualification experience handling analytics and/or credit risk to senior credit analysis
• Design and optimize data-driven credit strategies — including underwriting — for corporate and Islamic banking clients
• Conduct thorough financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and borrower profile evaluation
• Prepare credit memos and structured recommendations for senior credit approval
• Ensure adherence to UAE Central Bank credit risk regulations and Islamic banking compliance standards
• Support portfolio monitoring — tracking performance metrics and escalating deteriorating credit trends
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Risk, and Islamic banking compliance teams on credit mandates
• Apply knowledge of Islamic finance credit instruments — Murabaha, Ijarah, and Musharakah — to analysis

Qualifications Needed:

• 3+ years of post-qualification experience handling analytics and/or credit risk — required
• Strong ability to design and optimize data-driven credit strategies including underwriting
• Deep credit analysis skills including Islamic banking credit instrument knowledge preferred
• UAE Central Bank credit regulatory compliance expertise — ICAAP, IFRS9, ECL frameworks
• CFA, FRM, or equivalent qualification preferred for senior credit risk analytical mandate
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE Islamic and corporate banking credit engagement
