Job Title: Account Management Team Lead

Job Description: As an Account Management Team Lead at a globally established payments technology company, you will deeply understand the intricacies of products, services, and partner networks — leveraging this knowledge to meet merchant needs as a Team Lead for the Account Management function. You will lead a team driving merchant success and growth across the UAE and GCC payments ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Deeply understand the intricacies of products, services, and partner networks to meet merchant needs
• Lead the Account Management team — setting standards, coaching, and driving merchant success and growth
• Drive merchant retention, expansion, and GMV growth across the payments platform’s UAE and GCC merchant portfolio
• Conduct regular merchant account reviews — presenting platform analytics, performance, and commercial opportunities
• Coordinate with Product, Technical, and Operations teams on merchant issue resolution and feature adoption
• Monitor merchant portfolio performance metrics and proactively optimize commercial outcomes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise merchants and payment ecosystem partners
• Produce team performance reporting and strategic recommendations for senior commercial leadership

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Account Management Team Lead or senior account management experience in fintech, payments, or a digital marketplace
• Deep understanding of payments products, services, and partner networks for merchant relationship management
• Strong team leadership, commercial management, and merchant success skills
• Excellent client-facing communication and analytical skills for merchant portfolio management
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE and GCC merchant client engagement
