Job Title: Manager – Trade Operations, Banking Operations

Job Description: As a Manager for Trade Operations and Banking Operations at a globally established bank with 160+ years of MENA presence, you will manage trade banking operations — applying experience in a UAE bank or regulated environment to a management role overseeing the trade operations function for a globally recognized international banking institution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Trade Operations and Banking Operations function at a globally established bank in Dubai
• Apply experience in a UAE bank or regulated environment to trade operations team leadership and governance
• Oversee trade finance operations — LC processing, bank guarantee management, documentary collections, and trade settlements
• Lead the trade operations team — setting standards, coaching, and driving operational performance
• Ensure all trade operations comply with UAE banking regulations, UCP 600, and internal control standards
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Compliance, and Technology teams on trade operations workflow
• Produce trade operations performance reporting and management information for senior banking leadership
• Drive process improvement and digital transformation across trade banking operations functions

Qualifications Needed:

• UAE National preferred — Manager Trade Operations Banking Operations UAE Nationals preferred
• Experience in a UAE bank or regulated environment — strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Technology, or related discipline
• Proven trade operations management experience in a major UAE or international bank
• Deep understanding of trade finance products — LCs, guarantees, and documentary credits
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills for trade operations team leadership
