Job Title: Finance Data Scientist

Job Description: As a Finance Data Scientist specializing in Large Language Models (LLM) for a financial services or fintech data science firm, you will apply 2+ years of professional experience in finance (funds, banks, fintech etc) or data science firms for finance — building and deploying LLM-powered solutions for financial intelligence, market research, and analytical automation in a globally connected financial data and investment environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy LLM-powered solutions for financial intelligence, market research, and analytical automation
• Apply experience in finance (funds, banks, fintech) or data science firms for finance to LLM model development
• Develop and fine-tune large language models for financial data analysis, investment research, and reporting automation
• Collaborate with investment analysts, quant researchers, and engineering teams on LLM application development
• Produce technical documentation, model validation reports, and LLM solution specifications for governance review
• Monitor emerging LLM developments and apply cutting-edge techniques to financial services use cases
• Ensure LLM solutions meet accuracy, reliability, and regulatory standards for financial services deployment
• Stay current on AI and LLM research with genuine passion for applying frontier AI to financial intelligence

Qualifications Needed:

• 2+ years of professional experience in finance (funds, banks, fintech) or data science firms for finance — required
• Strong LLM, NLP, and AI/ML engineering skills with financial services application experience
• Proficiency in Python and LLM frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain, or equivalent) for financial data science
• Understanding of financial markets, investment analysis, and fintech data challenges
• Excellent analytical and technical documentation skills for AI model governance
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field preferred
