Job Title: Expansion Manager

Job Description: Seeking an Expansion Manager for the Middle East on a 100% Remote basis. The role requires deep knowledge of the UAE market in general, culture, and regulations in blockchain, fintech, digital assets, remittances, and payments — leading Tether’s market expansion and partnership development across the Middle East.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Tether’s market expansion across the Middle East — identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and driving regional growth
• Apply deep knowledge of UAE market culture, regulations, and dynamics in blockchain, fintech, digital assets, remittances, and payments
• Build and manage strategic relationships with banks, regulators, fintech partners, and ecosystem participants across the Middle East
• Develop and execute Tether’s expansion strategy for the region — identifying new markets, use cases, and partnership opportunities
• Coordinate with Tether’s global Product, Compliance, and Business teams on Middle East expansion plans and regulatory requirements
• Monitor regulatory developments in blockchain, digital assets, and payments across UAE and GCC markets
• Represent Tether at regional industry events, regulatory forums, and partner meetings across the Middle East
• Produce market intelligence reports and expansion recommendations for Tether’s senior leadership

Qualifications Needed:

• Deep knowledge of the UAE market — culture, regulations in blockchain, fintech, digital assets, remittances, and payments — required
• Proven business development or expansion management experience in a fintech, crypto, or payments company operating in the Middle East
• Strong understanding of UAE and GCC regulatory landscape for digital assets and payments
• Excellent relationship-building skills with banks, regulators, and fintech ecosystem participants in the region
• Ability to work independently and drive expansion results in a 100% remote environment
• Arabic language skills strongly preferred for UAE and GCC market engagement
