Job Title: Account Manager – Enterprise Merchants
Job Description: The Enterprise Account Manager will own relationships with strategic merchant partners — driving adoption of new products, growing transaction volumes, reducing merchant churn, and positioning Tamara as the preferred BNPL and payments partner for enterprise commerce in MENA.
Responsibilities:*
- Manage and grow a portfolio of enterprise merchant relationships — serving as the primary strategic point of contact for key accounts
- Drive merchant activation, product adoption, transaction volume growth, and contract renewal across the enterprise portfolio
- Conduct regular business reviews with senior merchant stakeholders, presenting performance data and identifying growth opportunities
- Coordinate internally with Product, Operations, Risk, and Marketing teams to deliver on merchant needs and resolve issues
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities including new Tamara products (banking, financing, analytics tools)
- Monitor merchant performance metrics and proactively identify accounts at risk of churn or disengagement
- Represent Tamara at merchant partner events, industry conferences, and business review meetings
- Provide market and competitive intelligence on the BNPL and payments ecosystem to inform product and commercial strategy
Qualifications Needed:
- 4+ years of account management, enterprise sales, or commercial relationship management experience ideally in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or SaaS
- Proven track record managing and growing senior-level B2B merchant or enterprise client relationships
- Strong commercial acumen — ability to analyse performance data and identify actionable growth strategies
- Understanding of BNPL, payments, or merchant acquiring products and ecosystems preferred
- Arabic language skills — required for KSA merchant engagement
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh
