Job Title: Senior Institutional Salesperson – MENA

Job Description: The Senior Institutional Salesperson will drive new business development across the MENA region — targeting institutional and professional clients, building long-term relationships, and growing Swissquote’s presence across the Gulf’s sophisticated financial services ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new institutional clients across MENA including retail banks, private banks, wealth managers, hedge funds, family offices, proprietary traders, and brokers
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior decision-makers at institutional clients across the Gulf region
  • Present and sell Swissquote’s suite of institutional services including trading platforms, custody, prime brokerage, and white-label solutions
  • Develop a deep understanding of the specific needs of each client segment and tailor Swissquote’s value proposition accordingly
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract signature and client activation
  • Monitor and grow existing institutional client relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Represent Swissquote at regional industry events, conferences, and client meetings across MENA
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to support product and commercial strategy for the MENA region

Qualifications Needed:

  • Significant experience in institutional sales within fintech, forex, prime brokerage, or financial services
  • Deep understanding of the MENA institutional client landscape including banks, wealth managers, family offices, and hedge funds
  • Proven track record of acquiring and growing institutional client relationships in the Middle East
  • Strong knowledge of trading products, financial markets, and institutional infrastructure
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Existing network among institutional financial services clients in the GCC is a strong advantage
  • Arabic language proficiency is advantageous; deep cultural fluency in GCC business norms required
